Liberation Square

A central square in St. Helier. A Philip Jackson sculpture depicts a group holding the Union Flag at the centre of a fountain to commemorate the liberation of the Channel Islands from the Nazi occupation.

The nearby Pomme d'Or hotel was used as the headquarters of the German occupation forces.
